Personal Care

• Handling personal hygiene care needs of the Resident. Includes changing of briefs, following medication instructions, helping residents move or transfer.

Companionship

• Good at listening and being a compassionate presence. 

General Support

• Complete a "to-do" list during shift, light cleaning, emptying trash, laundering of sheets, and assisting with food trays
• Office work

On-Site Requirements

• Background Check
• By state health department requirements, all volunteers working in a shelter must provide proof of COVID vaccination
• Masks will be required indoors for general health reasons
• TB test required

Requirements

• Background and experience check
• MS Office productivity suite capability desirable
• Verifiable secure home computing environment with firewall and VPN capability

• Set up and manage new and existing databases for tracking data points of residents, volunteers, donors, grant applications, referral agencies, and operating budgets.
• Port data between internal and external databases as needed.
• Extract reports from databases as needed.
• Support board members, staff, and key volunteers in using databases and productivity tools.

Requirements

• Background and experience check
• Fluency with database management and MS Office productivity suite, especially Excel
• Verifiable secure home computing environment with firewall and VPN capability
